Q: Why is this blog “full size” ?

A: Long ago, I was experimenting with something called StatusNet/identi.ca which is a microblogging platform, and has since changed into pump.io.  Probably the most prevalent example of a microblog these days is Twitter or Mastdon.  Whilst my Twitter account has since evaporated into the mists of time, this blog is still here and is still “full size”.

(Since I wrote this FAQ question, I’ve decided to start up a mastodon server so now this makes more sense, since Mastodon is a microblogging service, so this site properly the full size blog again.)
